sprocket question

Nak tanya otai2 aprilia kat sini:

going to replace my sprocket set with a new 1. The old set getting a bit worn out coz the bearing at the sprocket was hangkang oso. I tend to ride on mountain roads and twisties

1. thinking about getting +1 or +2 teeth rear sprocket for better low and midrange end. I know i will be sacrificing top speed, but is there a big diff in top speed? Or should + or - size on the front sprocket instead of the rear?

2. fuel consumption?

3. should i stick with aluminium or get a steel rear sprocket?

Any suggestions will be helpful.

what is "hangkang??? is it like longkang...

depend on how u ride ur bike...
if ur place bentuk mukabumi plenty of bukit2 katil...
better change rear 1+ from 42 to 43 size....
front sprocket no need to change..

alloy rear sprocket gonna cost u MORE (since u only hv a ciput bajet)
alloy 43 size sproket if about rm450-480 (sure u dun hv enough $$ to buy)
steel rear sprocket NO size for 43 size..coz that size is a special size
ONLY 42 size in market..that gonna cost u around rm70-100

P/S:
steel sprocket last longer that alloys...

Just ordered 2 aluminium rear sprockets from AF1racing 1x 43 and 1x 42 teeth and a front sprocket 14. Cant wait to give it a try

i posting kat KK, Sabah... beli apa pun x senang atau mahal, dan terpaksa tunggu juga . Kat KK ader 2 biji RS 250 jer, 1 biji tu duduk kat bengkel tunggu CDI.

rear sproket 43 gigi tu terpaksalah order online. Puas i call ke KL cari dier. Last2 order sproket depan & belakang standard size kat KL, 43 gigi tu online sama brg2 lain ler. tax bayar jer lah... kan kerajaan budget deficit dah

Bikers kat Sabah dah biasa ler... sebab kos hantar dari KL pun dah lebih kurang sama jer ...

Kita dah biasa cari parts online dan menyumbang kepada kerajaan at the same time

decided not to order the 43, stick to the standard 42 teeth instead. AFAM sprocket finally arrived yesterday, just got it installed, very2 light.
