| Rotax manufactured pneumatic powervalve for Rotax engines. These work off exhaust gas pressure rather then an electronically controlled solenoid and wiring. they are a self contained unit. You can also adjust when the PV opens using the red adjuster so you can fine tune and suit this to yourself This will fit Rotax 123 and 122 model engines (Pre and post 1998 RS125s) and i think also fits the 250cc 257 model engine, but please check this. Normally used in Kart racing, but can also be fitted to Aprilia RS125s either to de restrict a standard engine or to replace the normal powervalve blade, solenoid and RAVE controller. You can take off all 3 parts and replace with this 1 part, save weight and simplify, also good for engines with minimal wiring. The engine cylinder needs a hole drilling on the exaust face to feed this with gasses, see pic provided. Without this, it wont work. Any good engineering or quality engine rebuild workshop should be able to do this. Certain Kart cylinders and early RS125 cylinders may already have this hole as standard. | |

| perhhhh.... sempoi jg kalau tak payah pakai PV controller, solenoid etc... jimat kos beb!!! tp biar betolll.. PV bukak pakai tekanan outlet ekzos jer dah tentu presure utk Tork berkurangan bro.. pas tu.. dah bukak, tak tutup2 sbb tak dak controller | |

Nabil, aku pernah pakai benda ni kat AP lama aku dulu. Bagi aku, benda ni lagi best sbb kita dapat sesuaikan bukaan power valve ikut kemahuan kita. Yang bestnya, bila kita slalu godek benda ni, kita leh cari kat mana bhgn paling sesuai power valve ni membuka. Power band pun jadi lagi smooth. Dulu aku beli online dari Holland. Tak smp RM 500 pun, termasuk cukai. Last aku jumpa MABB, dia kata kat sini, bebudak go kart pakai. Harga 1k lebih... Kalau ada jual kat sini, aku nak beli...

| Lubang kecik je. Dlm 2 - 4 mm. Lubang ni untuk tolak power valve tu naik. Kalau ada gambar lagi detail aku leh tunjuk kat mana nak tunjuk.
Power valve ni mmg besh...

LAGI 1... kalau piston ring dah longgar... compression kurang maka PV pun akan efek jg.. tekanan kurang utk tolak PV bukak habis yg skrg ni... pakai controller dan cable PV terus ditarik mengikut REV dan RPM... masih boleh adjust jg cepat/lambat

Benda ni berfungsi berasaskan tekanan kat dalam sistem ekzos. Bukan compression dalam piston. Lagi tinggi RPM, lagi tinggi tekanan dalam sistem ekzos. Bila tekanan cukup tinggi, power valve akan tertolak ke atas mengikut kekerasan spring kat pneumatic power valve ni. Kalau korang perasan, ada benda kaler merah kat power valve ni. Kalau nak ketatkan spring, pusing ikut arah jak. Kalau nak power valve buka awal, lembutkan & pusingkan tombol lawan arah jam. Sempoi...

| Hi guys! I hope you don't mind me joining this chat. I have problems with the pneumatic valve. Plus i'm using a Keihin 39mm carbs now rather than the 28mm stock ones that came with the bike. Engine block is stock though. I also changed to Boyesen reeds to see if there's any difference. The mid range power is really light, though there's some choking between 5 - 6k rpm. Can anyone help me how to help make the ride smoother? |
